CREATIVE DRAMA Play built up from walking traffic technique The cast walk past and across each others
paths in no particular order. When the student reads/recites his/her line he/she comes up
front, slows, stops, raises head, says line and recedes into background, joining the rest
of the group. Students should dress for their particular part and can use appropriate body
language. The following text can be used for Holocaust Day - EXAMPLES: (Teachers should encourage class to add more sentences ) 1. When we arrived at the camp we had to take off all our clothes. 2. Our clothes were thrown on one pile and our shoes on another one. 3. We then walked into the next room completely naked. 4. Here we were given our number. 5. The Nazi commandant lashed out at us and said: 6. From now on you are all numbers. 7. You have no identity. 8. You have no place of origin. 9. All you have is a number. Can be followed by a reading of the poem by Anna Sotto "A 6 8 9 3" |
