MATERIALS: A rectangular board on which numbers are drawn one next to the other. Certain "boxes" are randomly highlighted. 10 to 15 cards with questions written on them. By using a minimum number of cards, the chances of the question reappearing are greater, ensuring learning through repetition. (See General Knowledge Quiz, page ). A coin and buttons for moving on the board. Rules: * The game is for two players with a third person acting as secretary. * The question cards are placed on the table. * The players put their markers on start. * The players decide which side of the coin is worth one move; which is worth two. * The players spin the coin and move accordingly along the path. * If a player lands on one of the highlighted boxes, s/he picks a card (question), reads it aloud and tries to answer it. If his answer is correct, s/he keeps the card and moves two steps forward. If incorrect, the secretary reads the correct answer and the card is placed at the bottom of the pile. The player moves two steps backwards. * The first player to reach finish is the winner. SAMPLE GAME BOARDS HONEYCOMB
