Dear Teachers,
We still have some of those books left:
TEECH (Teaching English Effectively in Classes that are Heterogeneous) ;
J.Steiner ed, Jerusalem, 1994
A Communicative Methodology; Gefen, R. and Goldfus, C. Jerusalem 1993
Any school that does NOT have a copy of these books, and wants one (ONE
copy of each per school) is invited to email me to: a_raemer@yahoo.com
.
IMPORTANT:
PLEASE specify if you want BOTH or only one (and which one you want - otherwise,
I have to write you ANOTHER email asking this question)
The books will NOT be mailed, they will be handed out to a representative of
your school at the hishtalmut on June 23rd in Efal. (This is only
for teachers at Minhal schools.)
If you have already written to me, asking for a book/books there is no need to
write again.
All the best,
Adele

Dear Coordinators,
In order to plan for in-service training sessions for the coming year, the
counselors and I are considering organizing sessions for new teachers. These
sessions would be regional, and geared for teachers in your school are either
just out of teachers' colleges or university, or new to EFL
teaching. The sessions would be mandatory for all teachers in the minhal who
have less than 2 years' teaching experience, and open to ALL teachers in the
minhal who would be interested in the sessions for purposes of personal
enrichment. We would make it a 28 hour course, which would earn the participants
gmul points.
What we need to know is how many of your schools will have new EFL teachers on
their teams next year? Please write to Adele at: a_raemer@yahoo.com
and tell her how many new teachers you will have. Include their names and your
school. We need to know this information by the end of June.
Sincerely,
Avi
